On tap at Haand Festival. A hazy yellow-orange beer with a big off-white head that lasts and leaves curtains. Raspberry, some citrus, grass and hay, and some pale malts and bread notes in the aroma. It’s medium bodied, nicely carbonated and with a touch of sweetness. More on the bitter side than the sweet side. Grass notes, some citrus and a touch of bread and pale malts in the flavor, which is mostly on the raspberry side. Lasting finish. A quite nice raspberry beer. 160527

From tap at Apollon Platebar 30.10.16. Cloudy orange straw colour. Small white head. Moderate aroma, of bitter oranges, orange zest and coriander. Fruity taste of pale malt, orange marmalade, orange zest and cloves. Slightly sour. Refreshing!

Bakgården Både & 180816. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is oranges, malt, hay, wheat. Flavour is oranges, malt, hay, wheat, hint of raspberries. Medium body. Easy drinkable. OK beer.

Superficial festival rating from Duggfrisk 2016: Hazy golden body with a white head. Smells like a wit, but a bit weak. Flavor is refreshing and rather typical. Medium body and mild but refreshing aftertaste. Nothing special really, but I have no problems admitting it’s a nice and refreshing beer. Might be a bit less sweeter and more fruity than the average wit, but hard to say jumping from one beer to the next.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is estery and mild fruity. Sweet, mild estery and slight citric. Mild fruity and crisp hoppy finish.

Draft. A golden with a beige head. The aroma has notes of wheat, coriander, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, lemons, straw, and spices, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Draught at Tap 10. Hazy, deep golden colour with a creamy, white head. Fruity aroma with raspberries, spices, wheat malts, bubblegum and citrus. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes sweet and spiced fruity with raspberries. Nice, refreshing summers drink.

Lukt: Sursøte frukter.
Utseende: Gulbrun.
Skum/kullsyre: Dekkende skum, heng langs kant.
Smak: Frukter, noe dropsakting.

Growler fra Gulating, sammen med Børge, Karen og Kitty kvelden før Paul McCartney-konserten: uklar oransjegylden med tett skum som holder følge hele veien. Overbevisende aroma og smak av bringebær og søt appelsin, med hvete og gjær (+et kledelig snev av krydder) som bakgrynnsteppe. Superforfriskende etter 5 timer på kystbussen, og de to litrene forsvant raskt. Bare godlyder rundt bordet!

I really loved this one. Pleasant refreshing wit, with a fine nice raspberry touch in the back of your mouth.
Cloudy orange color with a small white layer on top. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body, and an average to soft carbonation. Pleasant mellow sweetness. Wheat, yeast, coriander and a pleasant raspberry touch in the back of my mouth. Lasting flavor.

Om du liker fruktøl, så er nok denne midt i blinken. Frisk og lettdrikkelig med et akkurat passe bringebærpreg. Lett rødlig i fargen og et fint rosa hode. Fin intensitet i aromaen. Fint mildt bringebærpreg. Middels kropp med en helt grei karbonering. Ikke for myk, men heller ikke for høy. Frisk syrlighet og en ganske moderat sødme. Litt halvtørr avslutning. Et ganske tydelig bringebærpreg i smaken. Men også en del typiske wit smaker som gjær og hvete. Hadde jeg brukt litt mer tid så hadde muligens koriandersmaken dukket opp også. Lover å lete mer neste gang. For dette er en øl jeg gjerne drikker mer av. Nydelig sommerøl!
