On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark brown with lighter brown head. Aroma of dark bread, nuts, chocolate, fruity and floral notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied. Definitely a very good beer, could drink it all night!

Tap @ Cardinal. Clear, deep brown body with a small, lacing beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel, toast and chocolate. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, hint of toast, light chocolate and some dry fruit. Fine body and slightly toasted in aftertaste. OK, decent brown ale, moderate aroma but pleasant in taste, quite straight forward with rich body.

Quite dark this one. Almost black. Unusual mild aroma. Better when it got warmer. Mellow fine carbonation level. Very easy and pleasant to drink Bready and toffee flavor with some roast [On tap @ source – Skur 4 in Drammen, Norway]

On tap at Haandbryggeriet. It's a brown, dark brown, colored beer with a small beige head. The aroma has roasted malts and lots of bread crust. Some coffee and dried fruits. It's full bodied, smooth and softly carbonated. Quite dryish. Roasted malts, coffee, bread crust, oat biscuits and a faint touch of dried fruits and spices in the flavor. Lasting finish. A very fine brown ale indeed. 191214

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of malts, a hint of caramel and mild spices, only a faint hint of coconut. The flavour is medium dry and malty / bready, hints of caramel and mild spices again, the coconut is very subdued.

Vi er samlet for nest siste gang før jul på Cardinal Mi2 med entusiasmen og humøret på topp, og ingen av delene blir ikke dårligere etter denne lekre nyskapningen fra Haandbryggeriet (eksklusivt for Cardinal)! Brunsvart med flott skum som varer. En solid og velsmakende brown ale, hvor jeg finner sjokoladekjeks, mørke karameller, hint av lakris, delikat urtebitterhet og diskret kokos. Velbalansert og meget lettdrikkelig. 3000 liter er produsert, revet kokos ble forsiktig tilsatt, og barsjef Audun fra Cardinal fulgte bryggingen med kunnskaper og argusøyne. Et tvers gjennom vellykket prosjekt.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 02.12.19. Dark copper. Dense and persistent beige head and lacing. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, pine bitterness and vanilla. Good drinkability!
