Bottle. Almost clear, at list the 2/3 first pours of the bottle – golden body with a medium sized, fading white head. Strong ginger aroma, almost soapy with not much room for anything else. Taste is medium sweet, pale malt, spicy and way less ginger than expected from the aroma. Medium body and average aftertaste with malt and ginger. Might be a very fresh bottle with plenty of fresh ginger aroma that seems to calm down a lot when tasting it. Decent but not great.

Shared bottle. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of ginger and yeast. Too sweet flavour, moderate notes of ginger. Drinkable, but not great.

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. It pours an almost clear, golden colored body under a small, dense, white head. The aroma has a Belgian yeast kind of fruityness, it’s lightly spiced, with some alcohol and a pleasant and not overpowering ginger addition. It’s full-bodied, soft and lightly warming, with perhaps a bit too much sweetness. There’s some ginger warmth too, with a decent bitterness, along with flavors of fruityness, a touch of spices and alcohol, and of course ginger. Lasting finish, with the ginger slightly more dominating. A pleasant beer that doesn’t have too much ginger. One can easily spot other aromas and flavors. 190222
