On tap at Beerlovers. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Bugs, sour grapes, and wood on the nose. Flavour has tart, juicy grapes, golden raisins, some smooth oak, bugs, and good punch of funk. Fantastic.

At either Hanekam or Bøker & Børst with Idar and Mari 26.04.2025. Aroma and taste of brett, geuze, blue plums,, redcurrants, rhubarb and malt. Very good!

Well stores bottle consumed January 2025 @ home. Clear, deep golden body apart from sedimentation from the bottom under a small, fast disappearing white head. Aroma is citric fruity with acidic berries, wood, funk and lemon. A faint hint of acetone is also detected, but not enough to give a bad total impression. The taste is slightly vinous, fruity, acidic, wood, funk and some sour plums. Quite acidic as expected but also rather balanced in taste, balanced in body and a fine long lasting refreshing aftertaste. This was drunk as an accompaniment to various varieties of oysters and was a perfect match in this context. A very nice geuze style beer considered not made in Pajottenland, more in balance than very often experienced American made coolship versions. But as learned from the previous versions of Mirage it should always be stored for about one year to settle the right balance and give the optimal experience.

Small, reasonably stable off-white head over hazy, lively carbonated veiled golden beer. Brettanomyces, horseblanket, lemon, lactic acid, sour/unripe berries. Soft-sourish flavour with fruity esters. Underneath a fine, mild sweetness - again more fruity than malty. Unripe banana. Acidburn and -thinning, lipsmacking acidity, quite well-carbonated. Not the kind of beer I link Nøgne Ø with, but nothing the less for that. Wild ale, yes; spontaneous fermentation, quite possibly; great, absolutely; lambic, eeeuh, no.
