On tap @Sjoboden (Bergen). Bruna/rossastra, torbida, impenetrabile, schiuma bianco sporca leggera e poco persistente. Al naso note di caramello, toffee, frutta rossa, datteri, uva passa, etilico. In bocca è dolce con leggere note vinose, frutta secca, etilica, leggero amaro a chiudere. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Ok.

Åh, det dufter og smaker tørkede frukter utbryter Kitty idet hun får sin strengt tilmålte utskjenking. Vinøs, saftig, superbalansert med marinerte fiken/svisker/korinter/rosiner, alle klar til å havne i Kittys engelske fruktkake. Men nå er det februar, og vi nyter denne 0,5 flasken i sin helhet. Brunsvart med ok skum. Herlig munnfølelse og med en mersmak som gjør den fortjent til å havne på innkjøpslista igjen.

Olmost black with off white head - Malt aroma with some dark fruity notes - Malt body with some chocolate and dark fruity flavours with some alcohol heat - Malt flavours with some dark fruity tones goes into the finish - This was good

500 ml bottle, vintage 2022, batch #2574, from Vinmonopolet Egersund. ABV is 12%, IBU 25. Hazy dark brown colour, nearly black. Small tan head. Aroma of dark malts, brown sugar, Belgian ale yeast and mild spices. The flavour is sweet but not too much, with the same elements as the aroma, also noticeable bittering hops.
