On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4%. Golden to orange colour, large white head. Moderate aroma of banana and cloves, a weird hint of broth in the background. Refreshing wheaty flavour, not very sweet, notes of grain with a hint of cloves. A slight acidity (possibly not intended?). Clearly drinkable, but the Germans do this style better.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear yellow-orange colored body under a a finger-thick white head. Nice lacing. The aroma has banana and a sour touch of well-used socks, with hints of grass and bread, and a good wheaty touch. It's full to medium bodied, quite low on carbonation for the style, and rather soft on the palate. Banana, wheat and some bread, hints of grass and a light bitterness in the flavor. Some piney, resiny hops too, and a light sweetness. Mostly fruity finish. A bit sourish in the aroma, else a quite decent weissbier. 191004

Jeg går planken på Brix Brygghus, sammen med skibsrederen på konsert med skogsmatrosen: uklar korngylden med fint skum som varte helt til siste tone fra Egdetveitens trekkspill. Lyse frukter, banan, tyggis og litt koriander. Mild bitterhed og cremet mundfylde. Sto ikke distansen ut, den ble vammel mot slutten. 5,2% iflg menyen.

Brix Brygghus 041019. Golden-orange color with a white head. Aroma is coriander, malt, fruit, citrus. Flavor is coriander, fruit, malt, citrus, oranges, floral. Ordinary beer.

On tap @ Melkebaren. Hazy yellow/golden body with a lacing, dense white head. Aroma has a light scent of old flowers and flowers water. Flavor is a floral and slightly harsh with a grassy bitterness. Drinkable but a bit boring and atypical.
