On tap at Brew Festival. It's a brown, lightly unclear beer with a dense beige head. The aroma has caramel, oat and roasted malts, as well as mint-ish and piney hops. It's full to medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with quite a lot of bitterness. Roasted malts, caramel, oats and piney hops. Some notes of mint too. Quite lasting finish with a good hoppy bitterness. A nice one indeed, showcasing how well Centennial works used correctly. 220430

Cask! My dang. Rutland Sheffield. Mostly clear dark brown. Super creamy off white foam. Got to love a sparkler. Nose has mellow roast. Earthy hop. Bit of a tobacco leaf thing. Taste is pretty intense bitterness. Flicker of sweetness. Dry and bitter on the palate with fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Good gear that’s suit cask well.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Bottle Apostle, South Hackney. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, beige topping. Light-medium sweet with decent ashy roast, baking cocoa, burnt pine, earth, toast. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, more earth, pine, grass, cocoa, some bitter black coffee too. Delicious.
