We altered our water profile, upped the bitterness, extended the cold crashing, and left out all the soft and fluffy grains to let the simple grain bill and Simcoe with a touch of citra shine with clarity. We get flavors of pine, lemon rind, floral citrus, and resinous earth with a clean pop of hoppy bitterness and a crisp finish.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-transparent bronze color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: piney, lemony and a touch of red apples; light earthiness (seems something possibly to do with the hops) and a funky tone but seems like it's supposed to be there, hmmm...light malty backbone
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to bittersweet fruity quality; finishes piney, lemony and slightly earthy
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also some of the earlier earthiness I smelled now seems to be adding a little bit of grit to this beer
Overall: perhaps one of the oddest DIPA's I've had by Equilibrium, definitely leaves me scratching my beard as to what was the mysterious "earthy" character I smelled and why did it seem to add some grit to this?

On tap @... On Tap in Arlington. Barley hazy, dusty gold, great lace. Bittersweet, medicinal, sweet lemon, the lightest bit of cheese. Juicy limoncello. Laquered bitter lemon & sweet pine. Lingering aspirin. The lemon really does it for me. Pretty great.

Tall can from Owlsome Bottles. Clear light orange amber pour with persistent thin sticky white head. Aroma is damp dank but clean citrus pine aroma. Taste is clean lemony pine, light palate with apple-pine finish with some lasting resin and alcohol. Nice to have a west coast IPA from Equilibrium but as a lover of that style (and big fan of Equilibrium’s NEIPA), this good but not great.

On tap at Væskebalancen, Århus. It's more or less clear in the glass, golden in color, with a minimalistic white head. Some lacing. The aroma is resiny and citrusy, with some sweetish pale malts. Hints of alcohol. It's full to medium bodied, with a hint of warmth. Soft carbonation. The flavor has some pale malts and hints of caramel, but citrus fruityness has the leading role. Medium length finish. Nice indeed, not super nice. 231109

21st October 2023 Panda thanks to Cloin. Almost clear burnished gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thinnish malts, but reasonably sweet. Good skunky hops, a grassy bitterness. Light pine. Mild hop spice. Decent if slightly ripe hoppy fruits. Ripe orange that goes well with the grass. A touch of El Dorado Sakura, yet no El Dorado here! . Light and spicy finish. Decent if ripe dipa, pretty drinkable.3.9

Can. Another day another opportunity to revisit. This one is very mango and stone fruits. No real dirty hop vibe here at all, skunk is completely absent and there is only a light bright savoury steak. Light but persistent hop spice. More pleasingly tangy stone fruits on the finish. So much better than the last one I tried.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 15/10/23. Almost clear golden orange with a good sized lasting white crown. Nose is bitter orange, grass, pine needle, grapefruit zest, crisp malt base, mandarin. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, pine needle, faint danko spike, ripe melon, mandarin, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Decent clean drinking WC DIPA.
