Monday 18th November 2024, beer share at my place, just four of us and a load of old and new beers. Cheers Mike for the 500ml can of this. Clear golden body (no fog), weak white head. Citrus fruit forward with a piney twig or two, drying finish.

Dark blond colour with lasting fluffy head. Has undertones of a good English pale ale. There's even a very mild sulphur note. Very grainy. Pithy and floral hop bitterness.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Pretty much a clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a nice level of sweetness for the hoppage on offer here. Light smooth pine. Very nice hop fruits, a kind of crystallised fruits thing going on but never sweet thanks to hop spice and a little savoury green hop. Resinous hop fruits as well. A light finish brings almost Fruit Pastille like hoppage. Rather nice, wot?

500ml can. Clear golden, small white head. Aroma of zesty orange and grapefruit, pine, resin. Taste is much the same, punchy resinous pine, grapefruit peel, zesty orange, some lemon, clean, crisp, dry, and a very assertive bitterness. Medium bodied. An outstanding WC IPA. This needs to be a permanent addition to the Fog range.

Crystal clear with a thick white head. Smells of bittersweet and zesty tropical fruit. Flavour is pretty dry and bitter initially, with grassy hop and grapefruit, some very dry citrus. There is some lemony sweetness in here too, but the overall feel is that this is mostly pretty dry, though in a crisp and refreshing way rather than an overwhelmingly bitter way.
