Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2023. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Citrus hops, some pineapple fruit character, green herbs, crisp maltiness leading to a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a hazy / cloudy golden amber with a medium sized almost white head and good lacing. There’s malts and oranges in the aroma – plus a hint of lemon. Traditional hops to the fore in the mouth, plus some malty undertones. Flavour starts as mainly tangerine, but then switches to pepper and herbs with a hint of ginger. Finish is bitter and slightly spicy. This is decent – definitely a grower.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] An amber pour with a loose white head; malty aroma; firm malt base with a grapefruit taste; with some bitter grapefruit pith and pine resin to finish. Rather good.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Light golden with a thick creamy head. Has a hoppy bitterness in equal measure as it's not too bitter in its finish. Quite sessionable for its strength.

Very slightly cloudy pale amber with a frothy / bubbly off white head and a very mellow grassy, citrusy aroma. Medium bodied with a zesty kick up front, a little peppery and some biscuit malt with floral hop bitterness finishing things off, and a dry aftertaste
