Light Maris Otter and Pale chocolate in the mash give the golden-orange colour. Orange peel in the whirlpool creates a subtle pithy bitterness. Idaho 7, Citra and Simcoe added at various stages during fermentation layer in tropical Orange-Citrus flavours. Bloody lovely!

Hops: Idaho 7, Citra, Simcoe
Malts: Maris Otter, Flaked Oats, Caramalt, Light Chocolate Malt

440ml can at the William Wygston (JDW), Wigston. Light to mid-gold, mostly clear with an uneven white head. Light aroma of gingerbread, potpourri, orange. Sweet spiced aroma. Some iced tea. A bit more malty than I was expecting. You know, it's not half bad although has that 'supermarket IPA' feel to it.

440ml can at The White Ball Inn, a Spoons in Tiverton on 26th July 2024. I've been wanting to try this ever since I saw Wetherspoons in the South West were stocking it. The reason having nothing to do with the beer except it's name. Many years ago (late 1970's) I was in Sardinia at a large NATO base and tasked with organising a bus trip for the lads one Sunday. I did a bit of research and found a likely looking beach in a small town called 'Nora'. We loaded up the coach with 45 blokes, two 45 litre jerry cans full of red wine, plastic mugs and pre-prepared bread rolls with various fillings. On arrival (after a sweaty, hot drive) we discovered it was an old architectural site and didn't have a bar, let alone a beach bar. We left within half an hour and the place was renamed 'Bloody Nora' and I've never been back! Anyway back to the beer in question, it's orange in colour, aroma and taste.

Can @ Crossed Peels, Stirling. Golden with a haze and a thick frothy head. Despite pilsner being in its notes this is a hoppy brew that very much feels like an modern ale, and orange fruit dominates its taste, so there's little of that to find here. It's very flavoursome too with a light sweetness about proceedings.

Can. Appearance - golden yellow and almost clear. White head. Nose - mainly orange and orange zest. A touch soapy at the back. Taste - more soapy orange, but still some zest. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy middle and zesty finish. Overall - quite nice and very easy drinking.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol, March 2022. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of floral hops and sweetish tangerines. Flavour had more citrus fruits, ripe but light grains, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.
