“Laska” means love in Czech & we hope you love our tribute to a classic Pilsener bier. Brewed in the SMOD way & fermented with two lager yeasts & Czech-grown Saaz & Kazbek hops. Its softness & spicy-lemon hoppiness leads to a stunning dry & soft finish.

Yes! A truly great English pils. Crisp, bitter, endlessly drinkable. One of two SMOD beers currently available in London, I guess.

440ml can, hops not given but their social media says Saaz and Sladek used in this batch. Pours clear golden amber with a big frothy white head. Aroma of doughy bready malts, grassy hop. Taste is malty, bready, slightly sweet, hops are grassy and herbal, mild citrus zest, peppery spice, finishing with a fairly assertive bitterness. Medium bodied. Excellent lager.

Cans from Against The Grain. Hazy golden body with a lasting white head. Fine carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of nutty malt, lime peel, peppery hops, raw potato and buttered brown bread. Flavour of croissant, doughy bread, minerals, herbs and grassy hops. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. This is fantastic - it’s very drinkable and moreish.

Can from Raynville Stores. It pours clear golden - blonde with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, grassy, herbal, powdered lemon, floral, doughy white bread, spice, cereal, melon, gooseberry, custard creams and sponge cake. The taste is crisp, dry, pleasant bitterness which lingers, snappy, grassy, herbal, bitter citrus peel, pithy, campari, peppery spice, hay, cereal and floral vibes with a lingering grassy/herbal finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flavourful and moreish.

# 3071; 6/2022. Alc. 4,8%. Malty, herbal, bread and slightly fruity aroma. Cloudy amber body; persistant white head. Malty, herbal, zesty, heavier body, lack of drinkability compare to bohemian examples. Very good interpretation of bohemian style Pilsener. 0,44 l, can (stored out of a refrigerator at the store); beer store, England.

Can at home picked up from HOYM. An attractive clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lively rocky white head. Aroma is nice fresh grassy hop, nettle, little fart, clear earthy pils grains. Flavour is composed of big earthy cereals, straw, hay grass, fennel, spicy super crisp finish. Palate is uber dry and crispy, airy carbonation. Nice.
