330ml bottle from Brasserie Saint Germain. Pours a deep brown, unclear, good beige head. Pleasant comforting caramelised brown malt with light gingery spice settling on the finish. Lovely.

November 2013: On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. ABV was 6.9%. Ruby red colour, moderate off-white head. Nice aroma and flavour of Christmas spices, malts and caramel. Not too sweet, pleasant. Would buy again. *Sampled again from 750 ml swingtop bottle today.

Backlog August 2011. Deep golden body under a fading off-white head. Aroma is mild malty with some toast, slightly spicy. Taste is malt, toffee, fruit and some spices. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not impressive but sure drinkable.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, reddish-brown colour with small to average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Yeasty fruity, slightly yeasty spicy and nuttily malty aroma, hints of cherry and red berries, a touch of toffee and nougat. Taste is slightly dry, yeasty fruity and nuttily malty, hints of red berries and corresponding parings, a touch of hazelnut. Minimally creamy texture, minimally sticky palate.

Draught at Craft House, Prague. Clear, amber colored. AROMA- sweet, fruity, apricot, toasted malts, honey. FLAVOR- a bit sweet, no bitterness, fruity, malts. Medium bodied.
