Flow Series 4 is a West Coast IPA made with our mate Oli France, a professional adventurer and expedition leader. Hopped with Columbus, Sultana (previously known as Denali), Eclipse, Citra & 701 Citra. We brewed this beer to an ABV of 6.1% to represent the 6,190m elevation of Denali, which Oli recently journeyed to from Death Valley, entirely by human-power.

Pours a clesar, slightly lighter yellow. . Small white head fades fairly fast. Scent is pine, crystal malts, hopjuicy ( resins) . Medium to a tad below medium on intensity. Taste is bitter, crisp malty base, crystal malts & doughy pale malts. Resinous, to an oily intensity. Perhaps a hit black and white though, not all too smooth in it's interaction, not all to complicated. Just an easy drinking, recognizable WC.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Crisp cooling pine. Been awhile since I can recall a Denali centered brew. A light bitterness over a crisp modest pineapple, little citrus in there. Light crispy finish leaves a mild bitter linger. I think poor old Denali might of had its day, certainly as a front line hop, possibly will find a life as a niche hop. If you want pineapple, there is much punchier hops out there. Still a decent clean brew.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 17/08/24. Almost clear golden blonde topped with a lasting white head. Nose is grass, grapefruit, orange zest, melon, papaya, airy malts. Taste comprises bitter orange, citric tinged straw, grass, pine nip, grapefruit, melon, light minerality. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with predominantly grassy hop bitterness. Tidy enough WC offering.
