330 ml bottle. Pours almost black but with no head. Aromas of sweet dark fruit, cinnamon, candi sugar, bourbon, and toasted malts. Flavors of raisin bread, sourish oak, candi sugar, dark caramel, and sweet toasted malts. Unique though a bit odd with the sweet and sour. The ABV only shows up a thinner.

Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. The malts bring a little creamy sweetness, a fair bit of unsweet caramel toffee. Some tangy fruits, probably borne of the smooth but dominant bourbon barrel. Savoury bourbon, good oak induced vanilla. Soft finish. A pretty mellifluous barrel aged barleywine and, quite the ripe fruity one.
