Double barrel-aged imperial stout with banana, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, and Tahitian vanilla
First released in 2021, 2econd takes decadent inspiration from German chocolate banana cake. We started with our base stout recipe, Bayonet, and layered in a rich blend of banana, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, and Tahitian vanilla, while we elevated it with two rounds of aging in bourbon barrels and rum barrels. You’ll be sure to enjoy our take on this sweet confection.

On tap at Borefts 2024. Black beer no head. Aroma of Soy sauce. Malty impy stout. It's fine. More Soy sauce molasses in the mouth. It's a little minty with the strength. It's hiding abv quote well. Decent enough Too strong too, much Soy sauce. Ok

Clear dark brown to black beer, practically no head. Aroma: very oxidized, lots of madeira, port, Sherry, very dusty impression, quite some cocoa powder, earthy, dusty, more oxidized. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet, lots and lots of caramel, milk chocolate, very roasted, sugary. Aftertaste: more sweetness, lots and lots of chocolate, alcohol, decent, very heavy though!
