This exciting beer is made from German Pilsner and Munich malts, paired with Tettnanger and Hersbrucker hops, giving it a nice clean, crisp base. If that wasn't enough to excite you, the brewers then added Midnight wheat and Pale Chocolate malts, creating a unique colour to the beer when you pour it and a subtle roasty chocolate flavour on the palate.

Flavorsome and very enjoyable on a hot patio. It pairs beautifully with BBQ food.

Dark cereals, brown sugar, light molasses, with hints of nuts, and cocoa. Good mouth feel, medium bitterness. Finishes seminsweet, lots of cereals, slightly bready, grassy hops.

Chocolate malt and grass/fresh hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with large tan head. Moderately sweet chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay/dry grass flavor. Okay body. Very nice for a low alcohol beer.

This dark lager poured a deep red colour with a creamy tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include ripe fruit, caramel, metal, nuts and a little perm solution. First swig was a little watery. Roasty flavours of caramel, malt and dark toast. Finish is lightly hoppy with roasted malt flavours lingering.

Can: Poured a black color lager with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt notes with some chocolate notes and some dry bitter notes. Taste is also a mix of roasted malt with light black chocolate notes with a semi-dry finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Easy drinking black lager with some good character.

Clean brown colour, with golden-amber highlights. The head is frothy, lightly beige, decent lasting leaving a lot of sticky lacing. Darker malt nose, but not overpowering with hints of caramel malts. The roasted barley is tasted, even with the lighter alcohol content. The hops are balancing things in the end. A nice, light Dark Lager that goes down easily.
