Half-pint, keg at The Pocket. Upper part lacing on the glass from a stable pearl white head, misty orange-gold body. Ripe fruity aromas, scent of orange, promising. Flavoured with orange, pine needles, and mid-sweet malt. Rounded finish with a hint of resinous bitterness. Well bodied. Pleasing. (Islington, London 02.03.2026).

Keg at Coach & Horses, Soho. Hazy-opaque amber. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has light resin and a sweet fruity edge. Flavourwise it has resin and marmalade sourness. Light-medium bodied Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Easy drinking and enjoyable.

On tap at Old Dairy Taproom. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Proper west coast pine resin. Rather good I think. Decent west coast

Thin foamy head on an amber coloured body Bitter, orange, biscuit & chalky tastes with a well hopped finish.

Keg half at Earl of Essex, Islington. 25/10/2025. Near clear gold with white foam. Citrus, grass, mild pine notes. Sweet-ish. Medium body. Not bad.

Keg at the Kings Arms - Bethnal Green. Pours clear burnished gold, effervescent, with a creamy, white topping. Quite sweet, notes of bready sun-kissed malts, a little graham cracker, white grape, golden raisins, mild piney hop notes. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, faintly resinous. Drinks OK overall, not quite a WCIPA.

1/3 pint @ Saint Monday brewpub.
Léger orangé, col crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme centré sur le houblonné - floral et agrumes avec une petite pointe de poivre blanc, mais je note aussi ce côté un peu yaourt 'off flavour' avec une touche de beurre. C'est léger mais assez pour m'indiquer une petite erreur en brassage.
Palais est assez classique d'IPA côté ouest - un peu 'savonneux', effet léger yaourt sans pour cela être infectée avec un léger retrait malté qui perdure en fin de bouche.

Keg at the Black Heart, Camden, 21/06/24. Clear golden copper pour with an off white cap that veers edgewards ... some lacing ensues. Nose is old skool leaning, grass, pine needle, caramel, bitter orange. Taste comprises caramel malts, grapefruit, citric tinged straw, bitter orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with lightly aggressive hop bitterness. Okay mid paced IPA.
