Pours clear, dark red. Scent is intense, sweet cherry, complex, funk and brett. Taste is sharp, , tart, citric acid and lactic acid. Cherry, bit of typicality (marzepan) of the variety, but overall pretty subtile on the specific kriek. Decent !

Tap at Billies. Almost clear deep red. Deep funk, light oak, marzipan, dry old wood, sour cherries, soft Schaarbeekse cinnamon. Solid medium sour, a bit less sweet. Very nice.

Drucken på Bishop Gustaf Malmö. Vackert bourgogneröd, fin frisk och syrlig körsbärsdoft med kärnor och skal. Mycket kärnor i smaken, pigg syra, snälla mjuka tanniner. Mycket gott

Smooth, fruity and tartish with hints of sourness, some cherries and sweetness. Easy going, not super complex.

Couleur acajou, col fin rosé sur un effet chair de cerise. Ici, un producteur de cerises de Schaerbeek qui s’est lancé il y a qcq années dans la production de cerises de Schaerbeek, ce dernier est basé à Saint-Trond – de fait, un peu éloigné du Pajottenland et de la zone de culture de ces cerises.
Arôme est profond au niveau de l’intensité de la cerise – c’est hyper frais au nez et prend ma préférence par rapport à la version oude gueuze. Le lambic arrive en support et confère une fine acidité.
Palais est tout autant excellent avec une cerise complexe qui rend tout son caractère avec une fine acidité en fin de bouche qui se mêle bien avec le volet légèrement acidulé du lambic. Effervescence reste cependant légèrement élevée.

Clear bright red to deep red beer, small creamy light pink head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, lots of cherries, funky, earthy, sourish impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, good cherry flavours, some almonds, very fruity, pleasant, pretty acidic. Aftertaste: lots of cherries, earthy, a little bitter, soft oxidation notes, almonds, lovely beer!
