440ml can from The Offy, Whitstable. Pours amber, off-white head. Pleasant stodgy brown cake whiff about it, maltier than your common or garden ESB. Takes a while for the head to settle but otherwise very pleasant

Cask at Pigs Ear. Near clear amber beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Mellow and thin bodied malts, mild caramel and cream. A flaccid over ripe and boring brew.

Gravity Cask at day 2 of the 41st Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 03/12/2025.
Deep mahogany brown with a beige cap that clears to the edge.
Nose is dried fruit rinds, toffee, biscuit, brown bread.
Taste comprises fruit slice, biscuit, toffee, dates.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Tidy enough bitter.

Pigs Ear 2025. Gravity. Nice bitter. Pleasant toasted grains, crackers, berries, earth and leaves. Decent balance. Bitter linger. Good stuff.

Tap at Tilt, Birmingham. New Kent brewery tick for me. Amber brown with frothy off white head, good retention and conditioning. It has a biscuit malt with dusty and hedgerow hops with a light spice. Doesn't sound like much but there is an excellent balance to this, bittersweet, somewhat dry but nice mouthfeel.

On tap at The Low Key Taproom Ashford. Cloudy red brown colour thin beige head. Malty flavour in mouth. Some dusty hops on the finish. Yep. Malty. Some hedgerow fruits plums red Berry fruits. OK. Bit fizzy
