pours a slightly darker blonde, clear. Low stability white head. Scent is crsip/citrus and oak/funk, with acidic notes (not acetic though) as an undertone. Taste is very dry, harsh woody/citrus, intense acid is medium lous, by which I mean the acidity isn't extremely high, but the acidity present is potent - reminding me mostly of acetic acid, but not as aromatic. Overall, this is a geuze with less-than-desired (to me) aroma's, more about strictly acidic and dryness, creating a rather harsh total. By the high averages this beer currently scored, I simply expected more, perhaps. Not a bad beer, nothing off with it. its just not exceptionnal to me.

750mL bottled March 2, 2022, drunk Jan 5-9, 2025.
Clear, honey-copper-gold. Large, white head. Good carbonation.
I drank this bottle over the course of four days and it was at its best on the fourth day with very little carbonation. Other than a hard cheese rind character that I get in the nose and flavor, initially, and it doesn't seem to go away, this is a soft, well-malted, comforting (wheat slickness) lambic with mild Brett, no acetic, mild oak and lots of honey and biscuit. I still think it's not on the upper tiers as it has that sharpness that the very best lambics blend and age-away. But there's a lot to love here from the otherwise all-around mellowness and deep, soft maltiness. With the carbonation significantly lessened, it is surprisingly sweet, yet not too much so.

Hazy golden colour, with compact, persistent head. Strong aroma, manure, moldy cellar. It's soft, smooth, with juicy malts base, mild acidity, lovely bugs, some horseblanket.
Excellent.

Bottle. Deep amber. Quite some stone fruits, sweet malts, oak, funky yeast but not as prominent as a lot of other Tilquin beers, sour plums, yoghurt, caramel, oak. Medium sweet and sour. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Lovely.
