From Amstein, St-Légier. Perfect yesterday night, at the balcony. A right and fair ipa, interesting, brewed rather on the American way, really smooth, malty, some sweetness, toffee, a bit burnt, resinous and pine tree note, citrus, 20.08.23, at Epalinges

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 20 Sep 2019) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty nose with caramel, toffee and black-currant. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, black-currant, orange peel, a touch of chocolate and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Smaksprøve fra fat på The Bull Highgate: klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Grapefrukt, furunål, fersken/aprikos og mango. Men det er på tide å komme seg tilbake, ellers hadde jeg nok bestilt en av denne også.

ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, marmalade hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops, pale malt, marmalade hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Tap at Copper Bar, Swansea. Deep amber colour, white foam head and malty hoppy aroma. Taste is malt, caramel with some tangy yeasty fruity earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK

22nd Nov 2018, cask half-pint, hand-pulled at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire. Light amber body, white crown. Slight peaty aroma within the hoppy nose, grapefruit flavours leading to fairly dry finish. Decent.
