CANEDISENNE is a beer we brewed with our friends from Canediguerra (IT). It is a blond, bottom-fermented beer, generously dry-hopped with New Zealand hops. The aromas offer a perfect balance of florals and exotic fruit. In the taste, we find passion fruit, kumquat, and green papaya, blended with an enchanting touch of exotic flowers. A light sulfur character, typical of bottom-fermentation yeasts, gives the beer its distinct personality. Canedisenne has a mild bitterness, balanced by a fruity sweetness in the finish.

Lichte body. Lekker spul weer hoor.

Bottle from Great Grog. Clear golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and lemon meringue. Flavour of salted lemon and celery. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Fresh and bright.

Interesting. Got a dry maltiness at the back which I can’t make my mind up about. But along with it there’s a lightly sweet saison type element there too.

9/I/25 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 22/VII/25, bottled: 22/X/24 (2025-24)

Clear light bright yellow beer, big creamy solid white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, fruity notes, lots of pears, a hint of peach, a little floral, hay, some grains. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: nice bitterness, slightly sweet, grassy, hoppy, a bit malty, slight metallic touch. Aftertaste: a bit malty still, hint of banana, pears, a little soapy, sweet touch, pleasant, refreshing bitterness, a hint of citrus, grapefruit peel, a bit metallic, resinous finish.

Pours a clear, pale blonde. Rather large white head. Scent is full, grainy, NZ hops very bursting. Taste is full-on NZ hops, stonefruit, woody, 'grape' like milder volume, but great intensity fruityness. Bit tropical as well. All with a nice malty backbone, medium body and carbonation. Crisp and fresh. Sure, this is all about the hops, but the base beer hasn't been forgotten here, and it shows. Great balance as well ( even though specifically for DLS this is far more hoparoma forward than expected) . Another one of the ever-growing list of great DLS brews !

T: medium malty base, grapefruits, pineapple, orange, bready touch, nice balanced harmonic bitterness, medium carbonation, good for the style, enjoyed.
