Одна из уникальных медовух что я пил. Аромат словно масло подсолнечного на черном хлебе, не скажу что я от него в востроге, но вкус удивительный, действительно маслянистый на языке и горле. Сильный, слегка перечный мед.

Bottled. Clear viscous deep amber, still. Very sweet with full body and viscous mouthfeel. Balsamic honey, walnuts and sunflower seeds. Clover and nuts. Complex. Sticky warming finish.

375ml bottle. Pours an amber color with no head. The aroma is strong with honey, herbs, floral and some leather. The taste is complex with different layers of honey, herbs, leather, a bit of pepper and some hibiscus. The palate is full and oily. Finishes long and sweet with lingering spices. Overall: Decent--This is a top tier mead. Paired well with a salty Grana Padano cheese.

Bottle at the brewery, 11/29/24. Dark sunflower/peanut oil colored. Touch of glassiness. Nose is wildly complex, aromatic, rich. Earth, mineral, rustic dried hay and floral notes with a touch of caramelized sugar. No alcohol. Could go on picking complexities out of this ad infinitum. Similar complexities in flavor with a rich, chewy, deep-textured body that is sweet up front but perfectly balanced by acidity on the finish. Bit of caramelized notes, vanilla, and as many possible interesting, rustic, floral and spicy complexities as one can imagine. Unbelievable stuff.

Pours golden. Scent is full on honey, funky. Taste is full, powdered sugar, honey. Very natural. Milder than expected funk. Way more enjoyable than anticipated, as I'm usually not the biggest fan of honey-varietal base mead's. This one, however....

A hazed golden mead with aroma of herbaceous honey, clover field, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet honey mix with clover, nuts, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich.
