Can at home. Pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, some fruity and caramel notes. Taste has some sweetness, balanced by roasted bitterness and some sourness. Medium bodied. Pretty close to a stout, but still a good beer.

Can. An almost clear one, deep brown, with a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. The aroma is rather roasted, almost burnt, with a toast touch. Some coffee and hazelnut. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, with a pleasant bitterness. Roasted malts, nuts and a burnt touch in the flavor, with a touch of coffee and dark chocolate. Lasting quite mellow finish, yet with a bit sharp touch from the roasted malts. A quite pleasant brown ale. 241029

Drukket på Bergstua. Ultramørkebrun/svart. Middels høyt, tett lysebrunt skum som blir film. LItt lacing. Aroma av røstet malt & sjokolade. Smaken som aromaen - med en anelse karamell. Tørr, forsiktig bitter avslutning.

440ml can, #729, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Stable fawn-coloured head leaving good lacing on the glass, deep dark brownish body. Promising on the nose with nicely roasted brown malts, caramel scent to it. Likeable taste character of caramel and chocolate malts, nuts, and ripe fruity hops. Smoothly roasted bitter end. Medium bodied. Quite tasty beer on a Saturday afternoon.
