Keg at ushers. Pours deep golden orange, nose is smoky, light funk, balsamic, taste is sweet toffee, citrus, dry smoky finish.

Keg @ Birmingham Beer Bash 2016. Pours an opaque, reddish brown, creamy off-white head. Lovely smokey paprika aroma. Taste brings complex smokey flavours with great caramelised sausage skin and red wine notes. Incredibly tasty rauchbier!

Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en la internacional 15..06..2016. Lote 1CL/15 hasta enero 2017. Color ámbar marrón claro muy turbio con espuma blanca Aromas y sabores maltosos ligeramente tostados bastante ahumados y con un toque final ligero picante algo terroso de pimentón. Original combinación de ahumado y picante. Buena. (r08)

@ LIBF 2016. Red/amber colour. Light sweet, honey, spices, paprika and smoke. Nice experiment.

Muddy brown with no head. Aroma is smokey from the smoked paprika. It gives the flavour a savoury edge too. Perhaps too one dimensional.

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team. Léger trouble ambrée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez bien malté avec de belles effluves de fumé et un léger rétro de paprika qui offre un peu le même style que chipotle. Houblonné est minime mais perce en rétro assurant une certaine balance. Palais est léger fumé avec un côté piment qui est plaisant, ajoutant une pointe de chaleur qui colle bien avec l’aspect fumé. Le tout ne devient pas surfait, palais est léger drêche, et une légère amertume complète le tout.

Cloudy amber to red brown beer, no head. Aroma: pretty spicy, smoky, maybe some paprika. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy start, bit sourish, weird, paprika flavour I suppose, lemony touch. Aftertaste: fruity, sourish, funky, more sour notes, spicy finish.

No head to speak of - due to artificial lighting, arbitrary appearance rating. Smoke, real woodfire, burnt paprikaskins as for peeling, smoked malts and vegetables - great nose! Smoked, faintly vegetal and fruity - paprika stands to reason. Quite slick, medium bodied. Finish is a tad empty, however. Very original, can’t but like it!
