Cask handpump at St Andrews Brewhouse, Norwich, Thursday 19th January 2017 Pours smudgey gold with a little white head. Lacks a crisp and sparkle to it, it’s fine but a bit bereft of hops, more malty and a little sweet, it’s fine. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask at the brewpub. Pours clear orange-gold with a slight, foamy white head. The nose has citrusy hops, lightly buttered biscuits, straw. Light sweet flavor with more biscuity pale malts,a little dough and butter, tangerine, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation; pretty good condition. Nicely balanced on the finish with further doughy pale malts, biscuits, some bitter hay and grass, citrusy accents. A nice hoppy golden ale.
