Tap. Birra Craft Beer, Berlin. Hazed, dark straw colour. Dense, but frothy, lasting, shiny white head. Nose has a lot of funk going on. Very bretty and woody, with that preserved lemon twang that usually follows bretty beers. Hay and clean grain in the background. Taste is sour and fairly dry. Lemon pith in spades. Light body. Cleansing and bright. Pithy and light sour finish. Nice one.

Level 42 Bottleshare and no Mark King in sight. Thanks to Matteo. Hazy gold beer, patchy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has modest fine carbonation. Mildly tart generic fruits, Some lemon - orange. Dry floral finish. Over dry but passable.

Bottle shared on Level 42 12/12/2016. Many thanks to Matteo for this one. A hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is nice funky saison, pithy lemon, sour, pear, melon apricot. Little brett. Flavour is composed of light grainy, wheat, straw, pineapple fruit, lemon, spicy lemon, pearl. Palate is crisp, highish carbonation, really nice funk.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Mateo. Vintage 2014. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds lemon candies, dry wheat. Light sweet flavour with mild lemony tartness, some straw, melon, tangerine, white grape. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Quenching finish with more tangy lemon, wheat bread, hay, further tangerine. Not bad overall.

Bottle thanks to MattyO. It pours hazy bright gold with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, funky, apricot, very juicy, tangy, apricot, vanilla, fruit pie, apricot, toasted coconut and apple pie. The taste is crisp, tart, juicy, sherbet, fruit pie, lemon peel, dry, sherbet, minerals and mild acidity, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Solid gear.
