50% barley, 50% wheat slightly dryhopped with Amarillo made with the German Weihenstephan yeast. Pineapple, pear and tangerine in the flavor. The fruit almost makes you forget that this beer is well hopped with flowery and citric hops. More hops in the aftertaste, with notes of banana and fresh cheese.

Hazy amber with a medium white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with malty and overripe fruits. Sweet flavour with malty, caramel and overripe fruits. Finished sweet.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, consumed 24-12-09 Pours warm gold, touch hazy with white head. Aroma is wheaty, yeasty and with a little orange also noted. Taste is much the same, the strength is well hidden, its tasty and enjoyable. A7 A3 F7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish wheat malty banana aroma with some hints of yeast. Fruity malty yeasty flavor with hints of banana and some grassy hints. Sweetish fruity wheat malty yeasty banana finish.

2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Would not have guessed that this was a weizen bock. Pours with a pale yellow body and a large foamy white head. Aroma is grassy with apricot, tangerine, straw, hops and green pepper. Taste is very hoppy with pepper and a bit of spice. Reminds me a bit of the Bruery’s Humulus Blonde. Lively bubbles.

chiara buona schiuma piuttodto grossolana media persitenza inzia molto luppolata americano amarillo poi arrivano le note fruttate un poco di spezia in bocca fresca nonostante i gradi non molto corpo leggero fruttato un po di spezie un buon amaro nel finale leggero terroso uno stile un po strano

Gushing a little. Cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma has fruity hops, orange and peach, with spicy phenols - less weizen-yeast character than last year? Fruity flavour, some peach and flowers from the hops, a little yeast and a bitter finish. Tasty!

Good, somewhat frothy head over pale yellow, well-carbonated beer. C-hops nose, with a fruity background, an aroma as from lilyflowers, and spices. Oppressive spicy flavour, with liquorice, rootspices, spearmint; finish being faintly fruity. End of bottle, being full of yeast, actually betters the brew: the hopbitterness on the yeast, as well as the more velvety MF, certainly improve the overall impression. Certain astringency, burning MF, spritzy. Medium bodied, wheatslickness. Strange. To me, one of Menno’s lesser successes.

(30cl bottle, vintage 2009) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and steady frothy white head. Extremely fruity, spicy and zesty hoppy aroma with a slightly sweet and minimal sourish wheaty malty background, reminding me a bit of the Brooklyner & Schneider project. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Yeasty and moderately wheaty taste with citrus and pineapple, also spicy hops. Dry and moderately bitter wheaty and slightly fruity finish with noble hops character. Well-made hoppy Weizenbock (14.VIII.09).

Bottled. Very cloudy yellowish color, short off-white head. Flowery aroma, bit citrus. Bit bitter taste, slight earthy tones, citrus. Bit sticky. Nice one
