Monday 5th August 2024, the last Minutemat led Shrewsbury Beer Gathering, five guys, loads of beer and bollox. Cheers Mike for the 33cl can of this sour puss. Beige roof on a hazed pink body. Thyme will tell and it does in this raspberry flavoured sour, not really my thing, but an interesting concept I suppose.

330ml can @ final beer tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 24. Pours a hazed pink, large off-white head, pink tint. Strange combination if truth be told, not sure it works, quite prominent thyme, good tart raspberry. Just not a combination I think works well together.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy red with a pink-tinged head. Aromas of raspberry and light lactic funk. Taste is not sour though. Sweet raspberry and light herbal notes, lemon thyme builds down the glass. Nice lacing. Good drink.

Not getting the thyme as strongly as I’d have hoped, but a classic Brick sour

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours lightly hazy reddish pink with a fizzy head that fades away quickly. Just slightly sweet, with notes of dried raspberry, definite some thyme, green herbal notes, light seedy bitterness, some cleansing acidity. Light bodied with brisk, spritzy carbonation. Quenching finish, fairly dry, more thyme, impressions of tart raspberry, lemon. Fun stuff.

Keg at HL1, 28/09/18. Hazed pinkish red with a decent white head. Nose is tangy raspberries, straw, herb, spice, hedgerow, grass. Taste comprises sharp berry fruits, sprig of thyme, grains, herb, straw, berry pips. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough offering for the ABV ... does what it says on the tin for sure ... perhaps a touch too much thyme for my liking as it begins to dominate.

Can at Oldmeldrum. It pours hazy bright pink with a small foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, plenty of thyme, bright tangy raspberry and a touch of candy floss. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, clean, bright, fresh raspberry, tangy, thyme, lactic character, sherbet and sour candy with a firmly dry finish. Light to medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Will definitely split the crowd, but I rather like it. Fun stuff!
