Panda at home, thanks to the Bearded Avenger, 07/11/2025.
Lighter shade of black topped with a lasting khaki head.
Nose is dried red berries, cocoa powder, dark malts, brown bread.
Taste comprises light roast, cocoa powder, dark malts, cola cubes, dried red berries.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spattered with earthy hop bitterness.
Not bad.

Can bought at Blas ar Fwyd, Llanrwst. Opaque dark brown. Thick foamy frothy light beige head. Had a herbal, coffee berry bitterness with a tangy to it and underlying creaminess. Flavourwise there's initial fruit sweetness and sour berries. The latter then develops more presence alongside herbs and espresso. Underlying chewy malts and some creaminess. Light. Thin bit benefits from lively soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Lively fruity BIPA. Nice enough. But a tad too fruity for me.

440ml can online from Blas ar Fwyd, North Wales. Pours deepest brown with a loose tan head. Light roast notes, caramel, some burnt malts, coffee hints, citrus, mildly hoppy. Light to moderate sweet & bitter, nicely balanced. Thin to medium body with light carbonation. Nice flavours.

Bottle from Wales Ales. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. Aroma and taste has a dark malt, some caramel, citrus, stone fruits. Mid bodied, somewhat chewy. Not a full on Black IPA but its decent enough.

440ml can from Hop In, Brecon. Pours very dark, tan head. Gorgeous Black IPA, lovely balance with alluring dark treacle tones and subtle pine and mango emerging on the finish. Loving Antur atm.
