Can shared at work. Heavily sour blackcurrant-led flavour and taste with hints of chocolate in the background. It's more of an added depth in flavour though, than straight up chocolate, but I don't mind it at all. Light yet full bodied, very nice.

On tap at The Barrel & Horn, Bromley. Reddish purple pour with a light pink head. Nose is blueberry muffin, blackcurrant jam, touch of cookie dough. Taste is blackcurrant jam, lots more blueberry muffin, whisper of blackberry. Whack a bit a bit of custard with this and it'd be utterly divine 😁

Keg @ Tap and Can. Deep dark purple appearance, good pink head. Vibrant blackcurrant berry aroma. Big blackcurrant fruit dominating the flavour profile with a lick of chocolate underneath.. not detecting any waffle notes but otherwise pretty bangin.

440ml can. Poured a murky dark purple colour with a lasting frothy pink head. The aroma is big blackcurrant. The flavour is over moderate sour, light sweet, with a crisp tart blackcurrant, sweet chocolate, vanilla palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A nice balance between the sweet and sour flavours. I enjoyed this more than I expected to.

Blackcurrant comes first, chocolate takes the second layer. This is good, but find it a bit off balance

Can at Malmö Crew Christmas tasting at Palace Hall (17/12/2022) - tart blackcurrant with some balanced vanilla and cocoa, medium body, tart fruity and sweet pasty balanced close. Expertly balanced, lovely.

Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Magenta and cloudy with a thick fluffy pink head. Aroma of vanilla and white chocolate cookie with light fruit notes. If the chocolate chip character was more prominent in the aroma, the taste is dominated by tart blackcurrant with only slight suggestions of sweet doughy cookie. Thick body for the ABV and low to medium carbonation. This gets so weird so fast. Good though.

Opaque dark red beer, thick, foamy pink head. Aroma is mostly sharp blackcurrant. Flavour has the sharp blackcurrant too, a little lactose, some dark chocolate, vanilla, a little sugar and breadiness. Has a good body to it and is very nicely balanced between the sharp fruit and the more puddingy elements. Nice.
