Can that Ali & Em gave me - cheers! Clear gold with a white head. Biscuit up front then plenty of lemon. A touch of twig and then a moderate bitterness to finish. Quite enjoyable, tastes like a very good take on an old school golden ale.

Rocky white head on a golden coloured body. Malt, pine & chemical aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated with a cloying back. Malt, wet cardboard, grain & faint fruity hop tastes with a bitter finish. Standard.

Can at the Twelve Tellers, Preston. Light gusher. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thick white head. Aromas of sharp orange. Taste is a touch on the sour side. Sharp citrus and faint malt. Bitter, dry finish. Odd.

Can @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Mildly hazed golden brew with a head. Very dry textured hoppy brew, some citrus, some biscuit and fuller bodied.

Can. Appearance - golden and clear. Fluffy white head. Nose - toffee and orange marmalade. Taste - burnt toffee, orange shred marmalade and a bit smoky. Palate - light to medium bodied, tangy and smoky middle and finish. Overall - not sure about this one.

Can from The Justice Mill, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden - amber with a. Sturdy, fluffy white head. The aroma is fairly pungent, grapefruit blast, bitter orange, sappy, oily, pine, digestive biscuit and a hint of toffee. The taste is firmly dry, crisp, really rather bitter (akin to earlier, happier pre-hazy IPA days), bitterness lingers throughout, pithy, zesty, fragrant, floral, waxy peel, grapefruit, bitter orange, pomelo, slightly soapy and has some biscuit on the malt base with a zesty/soapy bitter finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Certainly assertive. Old school bitterness. Perhaps a bit homebrewesque, but a welcome change from today's norm.
