The winning brew of The Great British Homebrew Challenge. Pouring hazy gold, the beer has an aroma of rose, lemon, chamomile and coriander. The taste is tart and slightly fruity, with a silky mouthful that culminates in a kiss of hops.

Pours a bit hazy golden colored and topped with medium small and nonlasting white head. Nice fruity nose, a bit yeasty presence and flowery as well. Later on rose notes become much more intense and perfumey. Sparkly and light body. A bit yeasty with quite some spicy presence in the taste. A tad soury feel but very mild. Not too bad.

Bottle from Waitrose. Cambridge Trumpington, Friday 20th January 2017 consumed in Frank at Lea Valley Campsite, Nr Edmonton, London. Murky yellowy colour with a white head. Perfumey nose, soft in the mouth, wheaty and with a rather delicate fruitiness, do I like it? I don’t dislike it however wouldn’t rush off to get another. A6 A3 T6 P2 Ov13 3.0

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Waitrose. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Doughy wheat bread in the nose, some lemon zest, yeast, light floral notes. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of Turkish delight, melon, tangerine, more doughy and sugary wheat bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sweet in the finish with minimal bitterness, more doughy wheat bread, white bread, more melon and citrus fruits, white grape. Simplistic and sweet, but enjoyable overall.

Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, decent carbonation. Smooth light malts. Mild floral. Delicate rose and very mild and mellow fruits. Touch of candy fruits. Light finish. Goes down easy, quite a subtle and delicate beer.

Bottle at home from Waitrose. Xnobe. A light hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is nice pale grains, floral notes, hints of wit yeast, straw. Flavour is composed of light pale grains, floral hop, faint citrus, mellow Belgian wit yeast. Palate is semi crisp, spritzy carbonation, light grains. Little cinnamon character. Decent.

Keg at Tilt, thanks to Rich, 26/11/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is straw, light citric shreds, grass, grains, bready malts. Taste comprises tangy citric rinds, melon, floral notes, citric sherbets, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a moderate hop dusting. Decent enough for style.

Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Very hazy gold. Thick, frothy, foamy, lasting, white head. Aroma is wheaty. Some flora. White pepper. Some lemon notes. Taste is mostly sweet with a little yeasty dryness. Mouthfeel is soft and soapy. Some soapy bitterness on the finish. Really don’t like the soap thing.
