Keg in Brooklyn at Pig Beach. Pours clear gold with a foamy, pure white head. Pretty decent overall, moderately crispy, perhaps a bit too sweet though, with doughy biscuits, soft bitter straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet biscuity finish. Serviceable.

355 ml bottle, as Captain Lawrence Clear Water Kölsch, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.8%, 25 IBU. Pale golden colour, moderate to small white head. Fresh aroma of grassy and herbal hops. Refreshing and crisp flavour, medium dry, with distinct citric and herbal hops, resinous in the medium bitter finish.

Endelig er det mandag igjen, og seremonimester Melberg utskjenker i velkjent stil generøse mengder humørskapende styrkedråper. Mi2 er uten tvil Stavangers beste tilbud for ølnerder! Flaske. Klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Frisk, elegant og lettdrikkelig med urter (gressløk) og lys citrus i en fin maltbase. Deilig sommerdrikk, selv i slutten av februar.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy light golden with white head. Aroma of citrus, floral notes, some sulfur. Tastes slightly bitter with little sweetness. Thin bodied, slightly bitter finish.

Draught at Minetta Tavern. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of bread, hay and oranges. Smooth quenching clean brew, malty, hay and a hint of lemon.

Draught @ Malt & Mold. Clear pale yellow with small frothy white head, faint grassy aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter doughy taste, thin body, medium finish. Medium white head. Hazy, nearly opaque, yellow body with small floaties. Light fruity mealy aroma with herbal notes. Sweet mealy fruity taste with herbal strawberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy, low carbonation mouthfeel. Dryish mealy strawberry aftertaste with herbal notes. Well. It's OK, but lacking in character. (0.355l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

Boks 355ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Bergstua 14 Sep 17. Gyldengulbrun. Litt uklar. Middels høyt skum som blir til film. Litt lacing. Lett fruktaroma. Smaken balansert. Malt & appelsinskall. Tørr avslutning. Ga mersmak! Veldig uklar siste kvelling.
