Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Mid-golden, clear with a small off-white head and some six day lacing. Light aroma with melon, orange peel, grass, some peppery spice. Taste is absolutely brilliant: mostly bitter and a bit sharp, mellowing into a proper tropical fruit flavour. Finish is very bitter, astringent and a touch soapy, but that's just being picky. Soft carbonation. A cracker.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a creamy head. It has a sugary-metallic hoppiness in both aroma and taste.

Cask at the New Leathern Bottle, Warfield. A pale amber pour with a loose white head; leafy citrus aroma; crisp citrus taste with a sweet bready body; and a sweet tangerine finish with a little earthy spice. A pleasant summer beer.
