Bottle online from Blas Ar Fwyd, North Wales. Pours clear gold with white foam. Aroma: pale malts, biscuit, citrus, mildly floral. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter. Towards medium body with soft carbonation. It felt like this beer doesn't know if it is meant to be trad golden ale or a craft(ier) APA. It's a bit muddled.

Cask at Architect, Chester. Pours lemon yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s floral hops and grains in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and smooth with a slightly creamy texture. Flavour has floral hops, citrus and malts with hints of lime and melon. A little bitterness in the finish. This is reasonable.

Cask @ Olde Cottage, Chester. Clear golden with a creamy head. Crisp enough but mainly hoppy ale with an extremely light tropical fruitiness behind this - negligible really. Has a pale ale texture.

Hand-pulled pint at The Wrekin Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 9th April 2022. Pale golden body, took a while to clear, but it looked fine in the end, white lasting crown on top. Mini-citrus front to the nose and taste, tropical fruitiness I suppose, OK but nothing to get excited about. Had this in bottle form on 25th February 2025 and really enjoyed it, a lot more malty than the cask version I had. Score altered upwards.

Third, cask shared with Finn at Big Hand Alehouse. Spotty lacing from a filmy layer, clear golden body. Floral hops on the nose, distant tropical fruits. Mixed fruity flavours, moments of orange, mango and herbal hops. Drying fruity end. Refreshing and moreish. (Chester 26.01.2020).
