440ml can from Clapton Craft. Gluten Free. Deep chestnut brown colour, off-white foamy head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, caramel, marmalade, citrus, pine, hops. Taste is roasty, malty, rye, with stone fruit hints, grapefruit citrus, pine and resiny hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

440 ml can online from Clapton Craft. Pours murky deep brown with a ruby hue, beige foam. Aroma: rye, caramel, toffee, grass. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, big spicy rye character up front, caramel & toffee, grapefruit citrus, pine, earthy. Uber dry on the palate. Medium body with soft carbonation. Interesting one, I'd say the rye is too dominant for the style, for me. But I liked it anyway.

Foamy beige head on a dark brown still body. Toffee, jam & malt aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated with a cloying back. Red jam, toffee, medicinal, woody & berry tastes with a fruity finish. Different - Very drinkable.

Can from the Beer Cave. Appearance - deep brown to black, rather than red. Nose - spice and coffee. Taste - dark chocolate, liquorice and coffee. Palate - medium bodied and roasty finish. Overall - good but too dark for style.

440ml can. Pours a deep dark red with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, mild rye spice, some piney resin. Taste is very malty up front, lots of caramel/toffee and a little bit of spicy rye, lovely hop bitterness coming through at the end, quite piney, resinous, grapefruit, slightly earthy. Medium bodied. Starts malty, finishes hoppy, overall a good balance I'd say. Really great RIPA.
