(Cask at Lyric, Soho, London, 20 Nov 2023) Reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dark fruit and toast. Malty taste with caramel, apricot marmalade, red fruit and a mild earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced bitter. Quite nice.

On cask at the George and Dragon, Dartmouth. Appearance - deep amber to red. Thin white head. Nose - red fruit, caramel and bready. Taste - redcurrant, bread and caramel. Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and lightly roasty finish. Overall - I really like this. And it has elements of red or amber ale style too.
