With a primal scream we pitch the Kveik yeast to make the beer strong and ward off evil spirits. This crazy Double IPA is loaded with US hops and has layers of bitter orange & citrus that give way to the freshness of spruce needles & pine shoots. Big, bold, bitter & resinous

Canned 440ml. -from Ipertosano Pradamano, shared with Marko & Hrabren. Unclear orange/golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, floral and light spruce in the nose. Sweet malty, spruce, light fruity and floral with discreet alcohol in the finish.

0.44 l can shared with Ogi and Marko, thanks. Unclear golden, medium diminishing off-white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, fruity, candy, resin and spruce honey. Hints of mint, a touch of white grapes and quince. Medium body, smooth and creamy texture, soft carbonation. Intensely sweet candy aroma with a harsh bitterness, not in the balance. Finishes moderate sweet with a hint of alcohol.

0.44l can, thx Ogi for sharing! Hazy golden body, off-white thick head, not terribly lasting. Bit oily aroma, citric, stone fruit, low sweetish oxidation, some spruce. Huuuuge spruce taste, some stone fruit underneath, well hidden alcohol, weird light astringency, low low tartness. Ah, dunno, bit too much on the spruce side.

Best before 05/25, purchased at Amstein. Openin this can yesterday, at night. Good suprise of 2026. I had a good time with this powerful neipa, really smooth and malty, note of rye, perfumed, generous note of pineapple, strawberry, lychee, citrus bitter.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light gold and slightly hazy with a tiny ring of white head. Lemon curd, jammy apricot, bready chewy biscuit yeast on the nose. Sweet taste, more stone fruit here, leading to a slightly chalky bitterness. Lighter body for the ABV, well-carbonated. I’m enjoying this.
