We brewed a beautiful, firm but fresh blond of 6,2% for the occasion. The use of barley, rye, oats and spelt resulted in a wonderfully layered beer with herbal aroma’s and a touch of vanilla. The hops are subtle and provide a light tickle. All in all: full of taste yet very refreshing.

Bottle. Hideously expensive, but hey, it’s for Charity. Caramel and pear in the aroma and flavor. Soft floral notes. Quite a fruity flavor with Peach. Quite decent, although a bit too sweet.

0.33 l bottle from 'Drankgigant.nl', best before July 2019. Minimally hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, slightly floral and a little fruity aroma of vanilla, honey, some clove, a touch of hay and traces of banana. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy, slightly floral, moderately grassy and a bit fruity taste of hay, grains, vanilla, some honey, a touch of clove and traces of banana, followed by a short, slightly bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and moderately grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite okay, a bit dull.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Pre-Borefts tasting 2018 ] by kermis in Kim Jong-Un Buurtcentrum Zaandam, Noord-Holland. [ As 't IJ Geniet & Geef ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, fruity malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, pepper, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, grain, pale malt, floral - vegetable. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180920] 5-3-6-3-12

Bottle, picked up from somewhere, consumed at home Sunday 3rd November> Pours hazy gold with a white head. Fruity, yeast shows, a little bit watery, some spiciness, ok but not amazing. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Bottle @ home. Mostly a malty drink, with not much depth to it. A blonde with less herbs or a tripel without the herbs and body. I'm glad I supported Kika with this buy.

Sampled @ Borefts Pre-tasting. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, bitter. Not much more. Decent body and carbonation. Mwah. 6-3-6-3-13.

Draft. Golden pour. Aroma of yeast, orange and malt. Taste has orange zest, malt, yeast esters. Allright.

Pre-Borefts Tasting at the Kim Jung Un Buurtcentrum in Zaandam. Thank you for sharing! 330 ml. bottle. Pale citrus golden, white head. Nose is chemical, BE, yeast, washing powder, bad chemical,… Fizzy fish guts, real garbage, chemical washing powder, yeast, chemical, rubbish chemical, rubbish,… WTF? Did they release this for charity so that no one would complain about spending money on this?
