Can from the LCBO. Copper pour, with a medium off white head. Nice to see a flying monkeys release that doesn't have MASSIVE, INTENSE, GIGANTIC, or EXPLOSION in the title with a minimum 12% alcohol. The artwork is still a mess, but that's another website. Soft pumpkin spice aroma, pie spices, cinnamon, with some roasted pumpkin notes as well. Mouth feel is good, carb is smooth. Finish is really a soft, bready, semi sweet pumpkin pie, with some light roasty notes. I was expecting a spice bomb, and was pleasantly surprised.

A red copper ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with loads of pumpkin pie spices, light cloves, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light pumpkin spices, light cloves, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Craft Beer Market Ottawa.

This pumpkin lager poured a clear, deep amber colour with a creamy, light tan head. Nice lacing. Scents include pumpkin, nutmeg, caramel and apple pie. First swig was smooth, creamy and quite sweet. Flavours of pumpkin, spice, malt and light citrus. Finish is sweet with pumpkin/malt flavours lingering.

Amber colour with a very slight haze, and golden highlights. The head is frothy, light-beige, average lasting with some mild foamy spot. Pumpkin aromas with nutmeg, some cinnamon, hints of allspice and purée. The taste is of a pumpkin beer, but lighter tasting which works well for a lager. Eventually, banana-wheat is felt on the tongue. All well-brewed, and easier to drink than most richer pumpkin brews. Well done, but might get a little much with that wheat sweetness.
