Bottle.
A- Black color, black liquid, minimal head.
A- Fudge, vanilla.
F- Vanilla, fudge, mild booze.
T- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, rich finish.
O- Nice deep rich flavors. This was not too overly sweet which was a plus. Great flavors from a base beer that would have so many great variants.

Draught at Boat Works, 11/28/24. Dark, viscous, small, tan head. Rich bourbon, fudge, vanilla, low roast. Lots of spice and no alcohol or overdone tannin. Doesn't seem overly sweet or sugary. Rich, thick, lightly syrupy, not too sweet or sugary, though it's very malty and fudgey and the vanilla adds perceived sweetness. Rich bourbon spice and good complexity. Low roast, no booze. Vanilla and barrel help dry the finish. Maybe a bit one-sided on the fudge-vanilla. These Term Oils seem to be massively adjuncted.

Pours a thick, oily, brown-black, with very small, short-lived tan head. Aroma is chocolate, dark fruit, bourbon. Flavors follow, with more than a little black licorice in the mix as well. Soft, smooth, thick mouthfeel. Very sweet with an ABV that is fairly well-hidden.
