16 oz. can, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma has a ton of vanilla extract, lots of marzipan-y almonds, and a touch of toasted malt. Flavour is much more coffee-centric than the aroma suggested, with lots of marzipan, medium-roast coffee, vanilla extract, and a husky walnuts. Really impressive mix of flavours, finishing with lots of marzipan, coffee and some fruitiness. Excellent.

473mL can. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Tons of almonds and marzipan on the nose, very marzipan-like, along with some gentle chocolate. Flavour is pleasantly dry with lots of cocoa and coffee, lots of husky walnuts; the almonds and vanilla are more in the background. This comes together really well, pleasantly dry with good balance of the adjuncts. Fantastic.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Chocolate, vanilla and espresso aromas. Thick with sweet chocolate, almonds and hot vanilla upfront. Lasting vanilla espresso finish.

Can (10/14/24) from Whole Foods, Sherman Oaks. Inky, opaque black with thin head with poor retention, trace lacing. Aroma is strong marzipan, vague walnut. Taste is strong marzipan/cherry, malt, that's it. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, no alcohol, finish as taste. Not as bitter as other Grand Prix and at least there's some flavor, but inappropriate for Rocky Road.

16 oz can shared by tfontana, thank you Tom. The aroma is marzipan. The flavor is cherry, almond, old nuts. Do you like to drink cookie batter? Because this is nothing but marzipan. Damn the worse Speedway ever!

Canned 10/14/25, shared by tfontana on 6/14/25. Thanks!
Clear, dark. Small, tan head.
Intense marzipan in the nose. That's about all you can get at ...
Intense cherry-vanilla-marzipan with a lighter body, that same odd bitterness, old, minimal coffee and no alcohol. Yeah....this is ridiculously overdone and no where near what you want in an imperial stout body.

Dark brown, thin head. All the speedway coffee, some vanilla. I can imagine the vanilla as well. More chocolatey than most speedways.

Black with a large fluffy brown head. Strong cocoa and nut aroma. Flavor was boozy with strong cocoa nut, vanilla, coffee and cherry. Very long finish. Full body.

Chocolate, cacao, vanilla, bourbon, sweet, thinnish, alcoholic, a bit too much on the thin and abv side, expected way more than a alcohol bomb
