ABV: 11.3% IBU: - Ticks: 28
This opulent and decadent 11.3% Baltic Porter was brewed in collaboration with our friends from Pühaste. The beer pours a dark caramel head atop a rich, ink black liquid, expect notes of sticky dates, plum, chocolate, raisins, dried fruits, and hints of pecan. With a similar brewing process to our imperial stouts but utilising a lager yeast instead of our usual ale yeast. This decadent, dark beer utilised a serious amount of Pilsner Malt, Munich, Crystal Malt, Chocolate Malt and Flaked Oats and was then cold lagered for months to pay tribute to the famous dark beers of Estonia

Black with quick fading head. Silky, luxurious mouthfeel. Bittersweet with roasted malt. Hints of brown sugar and cocoa. A bit sticky but has a nice bitter treacle aftertaste.

440ml can. Pours black with a big beige head. Aroma of dark fruity malts, liquorice, dark chocolate, roast. Taste is very rich, sweet dark malts, liquorice, chocolate, coffee roast, caramel, could’ve sworn there was some barrely notes too but apparently not, finishes with some lovely alcohol warmth and a strong bitterness. Very full bodied, smooth. Outstanding.

Roasty and chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty and slightly nutty, minimally spicy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, a touch of Brazil nut and celery, liquorice. Taste is sweet, caramel malty, slightly chocolately and roasty, dark malty, notes of dark caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, some couverture, a touch of honey, liquorice, nutty undertones, fruity overtones with a touch of fig, date, plum. Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, soft carbonation. A tad too spicy, minimally unbalanced aroma, quite sweet concerning taste, nevertheless dangerously drinkable - pretty good.
