Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017 - London. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds tangy strawberry, light herbal notes. Light to medium sweet flavour, lightly jammy, has some citrus, melon, a bit of salty sweat. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, somewhat oily. Finishes with notes of salt, lemon, faint strawberry and very slight herbal notes. Fun.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Canteen Strawberry Basil Gose ].Hazy - murky medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, strawberry, basil, zesty, herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, strawberry, herbs, basil, zesty, yeast - wheat. Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Hazed orange with an off white head. Nose is tangy citric peel, lactic tang, pink berry must, grains. Taste comprises herb, damp straw, spice, funky bite, dried berries, lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough novelty Gose.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Cloudy amber - orange beer, bubbly white head. Palate is light and dry and has decent fine carbonation. Nice tangy strawberry contrasts nice with a mild savoury salty vibe. Tangy lemon. Mild basil on the light dry finish. A tasty and fun little gose.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2017. It pours hazy – turbid golden – orange with a small white head. The aroma is fragrant, herbals, tangy, strawberry, jammy fruits, sherbet and saltiness. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, tangy, strawberry, sherbet, jammy fruits and some saltiness with a dry and tangy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good fun. Nice sour candy vibe to it.

Cask @ GBBF ’17. Pours a hazy pale orange. Aroma of light strawberry, herbs. Taste is lightly tangy, salty, good strawberry presence, some basil and herbal notes, but just a little too flat for the style. Perhaps not suited to cask.
