Expect a smooth but crafty flavoured porter. The blend of robusta and Arabica coffee beans produces a rich, deep and roasted expresso flavour. Complemented by Generous amounts of toasted coconut, and balanced with well selected new world hops. Double chocolate flavours from a big grain bill are further enhanced by the addition of cacao nibs. Finished with a smooth velvety texture to replicate the creamy head of a café mocha.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017, day one - London. Pours clear black-brown with a light, foamy beige cap. The nose holds light smoke, roasted malts, chocolate. Light to medium sweet flavour, some ashy bitterness, scorched earth. Medium bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warm finish, big ashy roast, baking cocoa. Not bad.

Cask. Head of Steam, Sheffield. Kenny’s stag do. Nearly black. Very dense, creamy, lasting, lacing, tan head. Nose has coffee and chocolate truffle. Vanilla. Milk chocolate. Light coffee bean. Taste is rich, smooth, chocolatey bitter. Some vanilla sweetness. Rich and smooth. Chocolatey bitter, lightly sour finish. By a long way the best beer I’ve had from this brewer. Super stuff.
