Can from the bargain bin at Waitrose, West Byfleet. Aroma has musty coffee and light berries. Slightly creamy edge. Dark and glossy, if thin of appearance. Thick foamy light beige head. Initial coffee bitterness. Sour berry edge. Molasses sweetness appears into the finish. Medium-heavy bodied. Slick-oily. Average-soft carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough but lacking oomph.

0,44 boks fra lokal sjappe på Muswell Hill, delt med Steven: brunsvart med ok skum. Mørke karamellsjokolader, vanilje, nytraktet espresso og hint av bjørnebær. Ganske slank, men allikevel gode greier.

Bière 50 cl trouvée à Londres. Belle robe noire, nez sur le rôti, en bouche, notes de café et de malt brûlé mais elle reste légère, pas trop compacte. Sympa sans être très complexe.

440ml can. Dark brown colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Slightly earthy and minimally green coffee aroma, hints of espresso, a touch of mocha, light instant coffee character, caramel malty background. Taste is caramel malty with subtle residual sweetness, mildly bitter, roasty, notes of espresso, a touch of mocha, minimally sugary undertones. Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Slightly sugary, rather light body, not the most complex coffee flavours - OK.
