Bottle. Unclear brown color with off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, mild grains. Taste is dark malts, malt sweetness, not roasty, mild hops in the back. Low carbonation, soft mouthfeel, quite mineraly too. Nothing special, but easy drinking, and it's quite dry.

500 ml bottle. Murky dark brown with a fluffy head. Burnt malt, dry hop and zest, licorice, toasted breadcrumbs, some coffee, dark bread. Dry bitterness, roasty malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry roasty malty finish. Nice dry Schwarzbier!

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Starts mild, malty, roasty. More and more bitter notes. Hints of bitter chocolate, some coffee. Finish well balanced, fine roasty-malty. Nice!

Zum Löwenbräu Schwarzer Löwe, Flasche vom Landbierparadies, Nürnberg. - Tiefdunkles Kupferrotbraun. (16.5.2019.)
