Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 02/12/24. Orange amber pour with a lasting off white head. Nose is bitter orange, grass, herb, citric tinged straw, melon. Taste comprises orange zest, grass, pine needle, grapefruit, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. Passable IPA ... very much struggling to break out of third gear.

Can. Near clear gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, clean, a mild creamy sweetness. Cooling pine into slightly resinous citrus, a little peel. Light cooling pine finish. It's effortlessly west coast and eschews the worst of that style without adding much alternative. Decent.

Can at Big Scary Monsters Social Club Cowley Rd, Oxford, Wednesday 11th May 2022, listening to the music selection here which moved from I haven't a clue to that excellent debut by Portishead. Pours warm gold, excellent clarity with a white head. Bitterness is tempered with a steady sweetness. Soft moutheel, the fruitiness leans towards citrussy, good but bettered by Loz's Polly's Monstercat
